At San Pablo Animal Hospital, we are equipped with advanced diagnostic tools that help us quickly and accurately assess your pet’s health. Our digital radiography and in-house laboratory allow us to diagnose and treat medical conditions without delay—often during the same visit.
Digital X-Rays
Our digital x-ray system provides detailed images of your pet’s bones, joints, chest, and abdomen. This helps us detect issues such as:
- Fractures or bone abnormalities
- Arthritis or joint disease
- Foreign bodies or intestinal blockages
- Heart and lung disease
- Tumors or organ enlargement
Digital imaging is fast, safe, and uses less radiation than traditional X-rays. Images are available immediately and can be shared electronically with specialists if needed.
In-House Laboratory
Our on-site lab enables us to perform a wide range of diagnostic tests, including:
- Complete blood counts (CBC)
- Blood chemistry panels
- Urinalysis
- Fecal parasite screening
- Cytology and ear/skin sample evaluation
- SNAP tests (e.g., for heartworm, parvovirus, feline leukemia)
Having these capabilities in-house means we can often begin treatment the same day, which is especially important in urgent or complex cases.
