Dr. Moody McCall

Dr. Moody McCall grew up in Jacksonville, FL. When he was thirteen, his father gave him a black Labrador retriever and he began working for Dr. Roy Brinkman at Arlington Animal Hospital to learn about dog training. It was the start of his career in veterinary medicine. When he graduated from LaGrange College and then University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 1986, he and his wife, Eugenia, moved to the beach. In 1989 he bought San Pablo Animal Hospital. When Atlantic Blvd. was widened in 1997, a new hospital was built. Dr. McCall has two teenage sons, Clark and Chase. He loves tennis, surfing, wakeboarding and dog training. He is now on the Board of Directors for Canine Companions for Independence and is currently training Sloane and Gracie, Labradors that will hopefully go on to be the skilled companions or service dog for someone in need.
